RAJA AMPAT

Offshore off the north western tip of the Bird's Head Peninsula on the vast island of Papua in eastern Indonesia lies the pristine Raja Ampat National Park. Quoted by many as being diving's final frontier these limestone islands pop up from the deep blue sea as if they have been placed by a landscape designer. Scuba diving here is out of this world with something for everyone. The reefs offer a kaleidoscope of colors and variety and are home to some of the rarest marine life to be seen anywhere. Big animals are also on show with manta ray displays a common occurrence at some sites.

Amazing topside diversions will be on offer too. Exciting speedboat rides around the emerald tipped rocks to explore cathedral like caves, hunting for the elusive "Birds of Paradise" or the chance to visit fascinating working pearl farms. These land excursions are all part of Dewi Nusantara’s adventure in Raja Ampat, one of the last underwater Eden's.

Raja Ampat is Dewi Nusantara’s home from October to March when we ply the waters of the Birds Head Peninsula to bring you the very best of this unique and truly beautiful paradise and make your dive vacation dreams come true.

Starting and finishing in Sorong our 11 night cruises offer 10 days of spectacular and varied diving with between two and four dives
