NORTH SULAWESI

The northern tip of the unique island of Sulawesi reaches up into the Celebes Sea. Starting in Lembeh we will be diving to the east and west of this peninsula as well as exploring the island chain that reaches north.

The two most well known dive spots that we visit are the Bunaken National Park and the Lembeh Strait; both close to the provincial capital of Manado on the Sulawesi mainland. Bunaken is famous for sparkling reefs, sheer walls, great visibility and prolific marine life while Lembeh is perhaps better known as the critter diving capital of the world, with so many weird and wonderful creatures per square metre you may run out of storage space on your camera.

Moving northward to visit the islands of Bangka, Biaro, Ruang, Siau and up towards Sangihe, we really do dive the "Ring of Fire" encountering mysterious underwater volcanoes and saltwater hot springs as well as magnificent marine life and breathtaking topside scenery.

These 11 night cruises offer 10 days of spectacular and varied diving with two to four dives per day teamed with Dewi Nusantara’s superb services, comfort and style.
